Training Practice

We are a training practice for GPs and will often have a GP trainee in the Practice.
(A GP Specialist Trainee is a qualified doctor who has had at least 3 years of hospital training prior to joining us.)

Our Practice Nurse is available by appointment for a range of nursing services including:

  • Travel health & vaccinations. (Please contact reception for details.)
  • Cervical smears
  • Dressings Health promotion
  • Childhood vaccinations
  • Blood monitoring for heart disease
  • High Blood Pressure
  • Diabetes
  • Asthma
  • Other respiratory conditions
  • Rheumatoid Arthritis

Healthcare Assistant

Our Healthcare Assistant is available to:

  • Take blood tests as requested by the Doctors or Practice Nurses
  • Monitor Blood Pressure
  • Monitor height, weight, alcohol and smoking status.
  • Conduct new patient registration medicals for patients joining the practice
  • B12 injections
  • Minor dressings
  • Suture removal
  • Act as chaperone on request by either Doctor or patient
