Out of Hours and Emergencies

Medical Students

There are currently medical students on placement within the practice. These students may be present in the consultation rooms with the GPs or the Practice Nurse. If you arrive for a face to face appoinment at the surgery and do not wish the student(s) to be present during your consultation please inform the receptionist of this when you come in for your appointment.

Public Holiday

Neilston Medical Centre will be closed on Monday 27th September 2021 for the public holiday.

If you require medical assistance during this time please contact NHS24 by calling 111.

The practice will re-open on Tuesday 28th September 2021 at 8.00am.

Safety Guidance (Covid-19)

Please note that the following rules still apply in all health and social care settings (including Neilston Medical Centre) to ensure the continued safety of patients and staff:

  • wearing of face coverings by patients and the public (unless you are medically exempt)
  • physical distancing of 2 meters in waiting room
  • contact your practice by telephone in the first instance

These rules are as per guidance from the Scottish Government and the NHSGGC Health Board.
