Flu (Influenza) Symptoms
This is an urgent message from NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, due to significant pressures on our healthcare system caused by an early onset of ‘Flu this year.
Please follow the advice below:
If you have mild or moderate flu symptoms, stay home to avoid spreading the virus, especially in GP practices, hospitals, and other healthcare settings.
If you need medical advice, visit your local pharmacy or call NHS 24 on 111 for urgent concerns.
To reduce the spread:
- Wash hands often
- Cover coughs/sneezes with a tissue or your elbow
- Consider wearing a face mask
